Dr. Smith co-founded Family Psychology Associates in 1992. He has been licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Florida since 1987. Dr. Smith works with children of all ages. Parents and other caregivers participate in treatment so he can coach them to take advantage of teaching opportunities at home.
Dr. DeMoor-Peal is a co-founder and partner of Family Psychology Associates. She specializes in work with women and couples. Her interests include the developmental challenges of executive women and dual career couples.
Jeffrey George is currently the Managing Partner of Family Psychology Associates. He is an expert in Marital Therapy, with certifications from the Gottman Institute and Imago Relationships International.
Ms. Smith provides developmental and learning evaluations for students of all ages, as well as consultation to schools. Monta P. Smith received her B.S. degree in Special Education from the University of Alabama in 1976. She then completed her Master’s degree in Specific Learning Disabilities with a specialization in Reading instruction.
Practicing psychotherapy for over 30 years with children, adolescents, adults and families, Christine offers extensive experience and expertise. She is able to address a wide variety of therapy issues and meet the unique needs of each individual and family with skill and compassion.
Alison Singleton, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, college-aged emerging adults, and adults. Dr. Singleton works primarily with persons experiencing AD/HD, anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, relational problems, and life transitions.
