Dr. Saneholtz provides psychological services for adults and emerging adults through individual and group therapy. She specializes in treating anxiety, mood, self-esteem and women’s issues, as well as relationship difficulties, grief/loss, coping with medical illness and life transitions. Additionally, Dr. Saneholtz has interests in stress management, mindfulness meditation and behavioral health.

Dr. Saneholtz understands that clients may feel ambivalent and have difficulties making important life changes. Her treatment approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, attachment theory, positive psychology and interpersonal process therapies. Her goals are to provide services that help individuals enhance motivation to make meaningful changes, healthier choices and to learn self-acceptance for improved psychological and physical health. Dr. Saneholtz helps clients explore growth opportunities through finding meaning in one’s life, cultivating a sense of gratitude, becoming more resilient through life’s challenges and learning to extend compassion toward self and others.

Dr. Saneholtz is a Licensed Psychologist and member of the American Psychological Association. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University, a Master of Science degree at Eastern Michigan University in Clinical Behavioral Psychology and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Saneholtz completed an APA-accredited internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida’s Counseling Center. She has an extensive background in working at university counseling centers in addition to outpatient mental health. Dr. Saneholtz has received training, provided intervention and conducted research in Biofeedback, Pain Anxiety and Chronic Pain.
